Ketchikan, the 4th largest city of Alaska located in the Tongass National Forest is the salmon capital of the world. Imagine having an excursion in Ketchikan of boarding the Aleutian Ballad used in the 2nd season of Deadliest catch to learn about a crab boat, or boarding a Misty Fjord Seaplane, or seeing Totem Poles, or a Native Village. How about a great Alaskan Lumberjack show, or touring the rainforest canopy with ziplines, or fishing, kayaking and even snorkeling!
Juneau located in the Gastineau channel at the base of Mt. Juneau is the most isolated state capital available only by boat or plane! Its 3,248 square miles makes it the biggest town in the world. It has the largest ice formation accessable by road; the Mendenhall Glacier. In Juneau, you can ride the Mt. Roberts Tramway for spectacular views, tour the rainforest canopy and zipline with 6,000 feet of zipline & suspension bridges. How about sportfishing, whale watching & wildlife, an Alaskan salmon bake, gold panning, Mendenhall float trip, glacier viewing, sea kayaking and helicopter glacier trek.
Skagway is the most northernpoint of inside passage of Southeast Alaska located within a 20 x 5 block area! Don't let the size fool you, so much to do here! You can board the White Pass railway that travels over 20 miles of steep grades & turns, dogsledding. flightseeing over glaciers and visit a dog camp to learn about the art of dog sledding! History shows, Yukon & suspension bridge, rainforest, biking, Klondike rock climb & rappel, and so much more!
Glacier Bay National Park is 3.3 million acres and 18 glaciers making it the largest concentration of tidewater glaciers on earth. This area only permits 2 cruise ships a day to visit. Here you can see seabirds, duck, geese, whales, porpoises, sea lions & seals. 
College Fjord is located in the northwest corner of Prince Albert Sound with 16 tightly clustered glaciers. At one place you can see 8 glaciers at one time! College Fjord is only available on some Northbound cruises (not all).
Hubbard Glacier is located in the Yakutat bay of southeast Alaska and is 76 miles in length. Hubbard Glacier is only available on some southbound cruises (not all)
By adding a land tour, you can see more of Alaska by visiting Denali Park, and seeing Mt. McKinley which is the tallest peak in North America at 20,320 feet. Denali Park has 6 million acres of forests, tundra, glaciers and mountains. It is larger than the state of Massachusetts and is home to the "Big 5": bears, caribou, moose, gray wolves and dall sheep among other wildlife. You may also visit Wrangell-St. Elias National Park which is 6 times the size of Yellowstone. It has the largest assembly of glaciers and the 2nd highest peak in the U.S. which is Mt. Elias at 18,008 feet.
The Copper River, Kenai Peninsula, and Kenai Fjords National Park can also be included. There are 7 fjords in the Kenai Fjords National park located on the southeast coast of the Kenai Peninsula. You may be also want to see Harding Ice Field, which is a 700 square mile mass of ice and up to 1 mile thick. It annually receives 30 feet of snow and feeds 30 glaciers.
