It has been a very busy past few weeks, but wanted to take some time and share a little about my most recent stay at Sandals Whitehouse European Village & Spa, our very own all beachfront resort located on the south coast of Jamaica, just a short ride from Montego Bay Airport.
I want to begin with some very exciting news regarding the drive from Montego Bay to Sandals Whitehouse. The Jamaican Government has just completed a multi-million dollar rehabilitation on this road, providing a newly smooth, paved roadway. What a difference!
Once I arrived at Sandals Whitehouse and was checked in to my suite, I couldn’t help but just stand on the balcony and take in the ocean breeze. One of the many unique features of Sandals Whitehouse is that you are guaranteed an ocean view, no matter which category you are booked in.
That evening, I was able to enjoy the romantic firepits scattered amongst the property (with 125 travel agents) before heading to dinner where I took full advantage of our Gourmet Discovery Dining. Since I was only there for a couple of days, I wanted to enjoy as many of the property’s restaurants as possible. Thanks to Gourmet Discovery Dining, I had the escargot at Bayside Restaurant for appetizers, then moved on to Neptune’s for some grilled tuna steak as my main course and then finished off with lychee cheesecake for dessert at Jasmine’s - and this was just on the first night!
